We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Steven was our tour guide, who was informative and fun. You get to go behind the scenes of this beautiful Wanamaker building into places you didn't know existed.

Although it isn't as it used to be when John Wanamaker owned and operated the space it still holds his traditions. If you are in town between Thanksgiving and Christmas US Holidays the antiquated light show is well worth seeing to share in the yearly festivities that we loclsl have grown up with and come to depend on to make... I love Macy's when we are in the States. This is a small one in comparison to others I have been to, but has a good selection of clothes and handbags (my main love). It's centrally located and easy to find. They also had a great sale on (no surprise).

Really enjoyed browsing through the store, bought a couple of bits and pieces, extremely helpful and friendly staff, then a wonderful treat of hearing the Wanamaker organ being played, a good 45 minutes worth of varied music, very inspiring and even got to go and have a proper look at the organ console with the organist after he had finished... Macy's in the Philadelphia are do not tend to be the finest stores, but this one is worth a visit when in the city. Formerly Wanamakers store, it's a building from a bygone era. You feel special walking into this building, with it's grand open space, the eagle statue and one of the finest working pipe organs in the world.... More
