saw Copenhagen last week and the performance was great. Theatre was very comfortable. Sits behind St. Stephen's Church on 10th Street and Ludlow. Very convenient parking directly across the street.

Our group of 4 saw the play Copenhagen which was well acted and very interesting. The Lantern Theater is small so all seats are good with no visual obstacles allowing for a very intimate theater going experience.

This is the first year in which we have held season tickets to this outstanding theater's productions. All the shows have been above expectation. The stage is small and surrounded on three sides by seating, resulting in all seats being excellent. The variety of plays...More

Intimate old theaters overflowing with superb acting & forgotten plays, found at the top of old crooked stairways, are another reason I love Philadelphia. Again reaffirmed by the current production of rarely performed Coriolanus at the historic Lantern, where with minimal sets & creative sound...More

Just say INFORMED CONSENT this month with friends and have watched a few other shows throughout the year. Solid performances and they pay all actor's equity salaries. On the 2nd floor, so be prepared to climb.

We found this play online. The tickets were well price - $37. Every seat is excellent. The quality of the play was OUTSTANDING. The script so interesting and the two actors in An Illiand were phenomenal. I will certainly go again.

I've been a season subscriber to this theater for the last couple of years. You get the best ticket prices that way and it forces you to see shows you may not have considered before. Most of the shows we've seen have been very good...More

We went here to see As You Like It on 3/26/16 and I'd read a lot of reviews about how there are no bad seats, how unique the theater is, and how it's a bummer to have to take stairs to get into the theater....More

Lantern Theater Company puts on wonderful plays every season. I've attended for 2 years and am happy with them each time. They are located in the back of St. Stephen's Church. The theater space is very small and intimate, so there isn't a "bad" seat...More
