Sylvester Stallone is a genius with his Rocky Films. The Rocky Statue is located at the base of the steps to the Art Museum and you will always see lines waiting to have their picture taken. It is an inspiring statue and Philly thanks you!

Well we have all watched the Rocky movies so we had to stop by to see the statue when visiting the art museum. Lots of people taking pictures and running up the stairs. It is worth a visit but so it in conjunction with a...More

We arrived to Philadelphia for one night, mainly for the steps and the statue of Rocky. We parked in the museum car park and after a few minutes walk we arrived at the statue. There was a 15-minute line for a photograph with the statue....More

this is a cheap (FREE) thing to do in Philly that is a must. The statue takes seconds to look at, but its the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the surrounding area that is the real attraction. don't forget to run up the PMA steps...More

Unfortunately the statue was fenced off when we visited, and can't say it's the best of likenesses, but being right at the foot of the 'Rocky Steps' it's such an iconic spot associated with Philly worldwide it would be silly not to go. Suspect the...More

We were in at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and even though I'm not the biggest Rocky fan in the world, I had to stop and take a photo of the Rocky statue.

Located just at the bottom of the stairs outside the Philadelphia Museum of Art. There was a short line to get a photo with the statue, then you can do the obligatory run up the stairs to re-enact the famous scene from the movie.

a unique experience to see Rocky's statue after the many times the movie has been seen. Beautiful experience, beautiful city. The only thing I did not like was those people who insist on making pictures.

For some reason I thought the statue was at the top of the steps but it's not. There was a line with a short wait and everyone posed with the statue with their "arms up" to match the statues. No big deal, but I'm glad...More

It's just the statue of Rocky Balboa outside the art museum, to the right. We love Rocky so we came here twice to get different pictures. People are so organized, you just make a spontaneus line and ask someone near you to take them. We...More

My 7 year old ran up the steps with my husband right behind him. They had a great time. I didn't take them on myself because it was raining.
