Enjoyed posing in front of statue. I like the way the set up the area around the statue that makes a line form to take pictures. Keeps it a bit more organized than everyone just stepping in front of each other. Gotta get a pic...More

Visited this site with our young adult and teen children. There were a few vendors where we scored a rocky t-shirt for a couple of bucks. There is a line to take pictures with the rocky statue. The stairs are fun to run up and...More

We drove to Philadephia from NYC for the day and this was one of the must-see attractions along with the steps. I probably should have watched the movie before seeing the statue to make it more worthwhile but the area was nice and there's some...More

I get it. It's iconic. It's a famous movie, but do you really want to wait in line for 30 minutes to take a picture with a statue. Go have fun in this city beyond this monument

We came here mainly to get photos and to see the rocky steps. There were people at the statue to take photos and tell you what poses to do for the best photos and they ask for a tip which we were happy to do...More

No. Parking might be tough unless you pay around back.

We didn't stay in the city. We stayed in Horsham, where we were able to find a relatively inexpensive hotel that had free parking, breakfast, and wifi. It took us about 30 minutes to drive to Independence Park. If you have a... More
