Awesome national park dedicated to a great man who played a large role in the development of American history. Worth stopping by! A well done museum.

This is one of the smallest NPS sites you will find, but it is quite interesting. It interprets Kosciuszko's visit to the US. There are exhibits explaining his life and his lodgings are recreated. Somewhat limited opening hours, but worth the short walk from Independence...More

Nice quick visit. Kids can do the junior ranger booklet here and learn some history as a result, and earn a badge. Open very limited hours.

Well worth the effort to walk over to this little house. A great man we'd not heard of, so much influence and such a personality! Humble, persistent, he gave his tremendous military engineering talents to us, just on his serious revolutionary principles. Poland missed out....More

In our travels around the country homeschooling and visiting historic sites, we have come across Thaddeus Kosciuszco's name all over the place. We were excited to finally visit the site dedicated to him, and it did not disappoint. Ranger Beth was welcoming and engaging and...More

It's really sad that not many people know who Tadeusz Kościuszko is, considering America probably would not have won the Revolutionary War without him. He was a tactical genius and his planning led to a victory at Saratoga (which turned the tides of the war...More

The smallest site in the National Park Service, this building is not far from Independence Hall and worth a stop. I enjoyed the short film about Thaddeus. I love checking out these smaller sites, you learn something every time!

Smallest and one of the least visited National Parks, but totally worth going. Open odd hours so make sure you know before you go. Kosciuszko was a true American hero, and a hero in Poland as well. Learned a lot and the park ranger was...More

The Kosciuszko House is an interesting place, mostly because Kosciuszko is one of the more underappreciated figures in American history. His life is explained in great detail, but it's mostly devoid of actual objects related to him. It's still highly worth a visit if you're...More

I did not know this national park existed until reading about it in the local newspaper. It is well worth the few minutes spent to catch up on the history of the American Revolution. There are no lines and best of all no admission fee.

No fee, you could see it in 45 minutes on the quick side; up to 2 hours I'd say.
