Beautiful Arboretum on any day and the Holiday Garden Railway is delight in the light of day. Add the sparkle of christmas lights, Carolers and hot chocolate and it becomes a winter wonderland - even in this unseasonably warm weather.

As far as arboretum's go, I thought it was perfectly normal. It was the miniature train sets that blew me away. A whole section of the park was devoted to various train tracks weaving through trees and other foliage, with lovely custom bridges and other...More

Nice arboretum to spend a sunny afternoon. There's a fee, which I'm unaccustomed to (museums/arboretums free in most states I've lived in) or I'd visit more frequently, since I live nearby. Pro tip: Glenside library should have a free pass you can borrow, but you...More

I just showed up and a very nice man at the gate sold me the ticket and told me what plants were looking good at the moment, how long it would take to get to different bits, and the things he thought I ought not to miss.

If I recall correctly, the big treehouse with the nets is not entirely accessible. In general, though, it shouldn't be too much of a hassle.
