This is a stunning piece of architecture, well worth your time for a visit. There is some interior renovations going on at the moment, but don't let that stop you. This certainly has to be one of the nicest basilicas I've seen in the US....More

The Cathedral is wonderful. Marbles, altars and statues reminded me Italian Churches. The volunteer told us the story, even if you are not Catholic, a visit it is worth.

This whole building is so amazingly beautiful that I had forgiven the rude usher that wanted us to wait outside because the Easter mass was finishing. Isn't it the church suppose to welcome you in.. maybe he did not know this.

I would only add that at least one confessional booth is equipped with a phone/amplifier for the hearing-impaired.
