Very good venue for modern dance

The main theatre space is excellent for dance. No obstructions, nice seats, good leg room, and not huge. Only one negative: the lobby and amenities are less than perfect. This... read more

The main theatre space is excellent for dance. No obstructions, nice seats, good leg room, and not huge. Only one negative: the lobby and amenities are less than perfect. This building has gone through several iterations. It seems to have now found its groove. Cabaret, films and other offerings are starting to fill up the space. The Prince is centrally... More

Fortuitously, the lovely Ms. Michelle Lee happened to be performing her Cabaret tribute to the music of Cy Coleman at the RRazz Room this past Saturday. The room is very comfortable, the sound was excellent and the dessert platter very tasty. Most importantly, Ms. Lee was wonderful, and we had the pleasure of sharing a table with another lovely couple.... More

Went to a fantastic performance by string artists called "Well Strung", four handsome young guys playing cello, violin etc classics morphing into pop tunes. Looks like the venue is bringing in some great talent to this comfortable setting, where we were able to enjoy good live entertainment with affordable drinks. Super enjoyable evening for our whole party of five. Will... More

We went for a dance performance. It is a lovely space with the seats not being too crowded together and fairly intimate as far as size goes. The temperature was good as was the sound. But the bathrooms were a problem. Before the performance, half of the stalls were without toilet paper and it was not attended to during the... More

As exemplified by enchanting Andrea Marcovici, Cabaret is alive & well in Philadelphia. An intimate setting upstairs at the Prince Theater, the RRaze Room is an opportunity to sip some wine or bubbly, while listening to oldies but goodies at little round tables nestled close the stage.

Yes this is a music theater, but they happened had a showing of a new movie that I wanted to see. Inside was there was a small concession stand. Either is they've kept it very nice or it is newly renovated. Whichever, it is really nice! The theater is very spacious, and it was practically a private showing since there... More

The seating was very comfortable. The price for the tickets were very reasonable for this concert. The acoustics were fantastic and we felt like Glen was giving us a private... More

Watching a re-broadcast of the Royal Opera Company's stunning production of Tosca, my favorite opera, while sipping beer, munching chips & holding hands with my fella was the best date I've had in a long time! Thankfully preserved, the grand Prince Theatre has been put to good use by offering live performance broadcasts, quality films & interesting musical events. An... More
