I visited the theater for the first time for the performance of the The Bluest Eye. The theater was amazing and gave me an intimate and personal experience. The company was captivating. I will definitely visit again.

We loved our first experience at Arden Theatre and cannot wait to see more shows here! The cast & set of Peter Pan was delightful and engaged the whole audience: young kids, adults & even the teenagers who were a bit resistant. We enjoyed the...More

Go here for any production and you will be happy. Best theater in Philadelphia by far. Actors are well cast and sets and everything is as good as any Broadway produced show. Go.

The Arden Theatre consistently produces excellent work! I've enjoyed numerous shows over the years and am always impressed with not only the performances but also the imagination and execution of the staging, set design, wardrobe and direction. Truly worth a visit.

The Arden, located in Old City, is a small venue with excellent sight lines and shows sure to entertain. Discounts at area restaurants are offered with ticket stubs. If you are in Philadelphia before June 24, check out Gypsy.

Wow! what a treat! to see this amazing, innovative, delightful, clever, entertaining "American Revolution!" The actors are superb, the dialogue funny and witty...we didn't want it to end. It is a short run...only until June 11....you really don't want to miss it.

My friend and I teach Shakespeare, so we ventured out to the Arden to watch A Midsummer Night's Dream. It was perfection. The theater is fun, funky, and comfortable, and the actors were second to none. The entire experience was phenomenal.
