We went to a workshop from 10-4 and learned to make paperweights and vases and ornaments. It was a lot of fun, the guys who taught and ran the place were great! Great experience and really learned how to do it. Working with glass is much harder than it seems and they were very patient and encouraging. Would definitely recommend... More

Registered for the Sunday Class in December for Seasonal Ornament Glassblowing for beginners. We arrived at 12pm for the class. Make sure you arrive early enough to find parking on the street it seems to fill up quickly. This is the first time we tried this so and the instructor was great. Took a pumpkin blowing intro class. The instructor was great, explained what to do and why. This was a fun experience and came away with a hand blown piece.

Took the bus from Center city (wouldnt recommend) got dropped at end of lane by 11:30am (opening time for Glassworks 12Noon) No sight nor sound from anybody! Cold and windy, the vegan cafe was open and the guys v. friendly, however if you are not into vegan there's not much else to interest you. Nice set-up as far as aesthetics... More
