I have been indulging my passion for chocolate at Lore's for over 30 years. They offer the best coconut cream eggs (available all year not just at Easter), butter creams, novelties, assortments. When you walk into the store you are in heaven! Great friendly staff too!

Great little shop with a great look and SMELL. If you are anywhere near Independence Park you should take the 5 minute walk down to this chocolate shop. Don't use google...just go near the parking garage and smell your way there - its that awesome.

The best Easter destination in the City hands down. Very traditional Philadelphia Easter favorites. Awesome peanut butter and coconut Easter Eggs.

The smell of chocolate hits you when you walk in the door. Found this Philly staple by accident - it was outside of my parking garage on the way to see the Liberty Bell. It was close to Easter when we visited so there were tons of choco bunnies to choose from!

We happened upon this cute local chocolate shop and the employees were so helpful and I loved the peanut butter filled milk chocolates and a store special - chocolate Easter baskets.

You can go crazy here - so many delicious chocolates that you could go for We were very careful in picking a few flavours that we wanted to try - fruity ones, ones with nuts etc, All of them were very good. We then went next door to their cafe and had coffees and our daughter had their hot chocolate... More

A lot of people go here, and this is one of the best chocolate that I ever had. They have different kinds of chocolates and different shapes and things. They have chocolate shaped as the Liberty Bell!

Lore's is on 7th Street just south of market. It is a cute little candy shop where they make the delicious chocolates onsite. When you go in, you choose the size of your container and the clerk goes around with you to explain the different chocolates and put those that you select in your box or bag. They have some... More

This chocolate shop is highly rated for a reason. The proprietor is friendly and offers information to guide your purchase. They offer free samples. I just wish they offered a tour of the factory beneath the shop. Great for quality vs quantity gifts and personal treats.

This place is a treasure. I used to work across the street and would go buy my piece of chocolate for the day. I even had the chance to visit their factory, and I was very impressed by the traditional way they still operate. The store is always very clean and there is a lot of choices, from chocolate to...
