The Park Rangers are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We bought a Lifetime Senior Pass for $10, which allows up to four people free entrance. What a bargain! We had a Ranger explain the Black Mariah and Edison's contributions in the early days of cinema. The films were short and sweet; some lasted only 15 seconds. Then we toured the factory... More

A very interesting place to visit. We were pleasantly surprised and impressed by the scope. The park staff was very informative.

Orientation film is informative....that's it. Young kids will look at all the old metal stuff and be wondering why the adults care about this place. Adults: you'll enjoy the rangers and the volunteers who are there to tell stories and make the place come alive. I liked the story in the Chemical Lab that mentioned Henry Ford and Mr. Firestone... Edison has so many invention, it is amazing to visit the historical laboratory space.. The first motion picture studio.. ..and first talking doll...

Went to see Thomas Edison's legacy, had a great time and the tour was very informative. Must see, and id go again.

If you love history, invention and technology, this is the place to be. Even though the first film studio (the Black Maria) is an exact replica is still a wonder to film historians. the labs and all the machines built by Edison are truly innovative. We've been to the Oranges a few times and just found out this place exists. We were excited. Who doesn't know Thomas Edison?! It is worth a trip to see this historical park and understand Thomas Edison. My kids loved to see it.

It was a fantastic visit, it's worth doing this tour you learn a lot and they guide you through each room, also the rate is cheap.
