A great way to learn about a man who, based on this tour, seemed so ordinary and down-to-earth...yet a great military leader and president. Suggest going earlier than 4PM as we did NOT have enough time to see everything before the last bus left the...More

This is the only National Park Service Site that offers a Jr Secret Service Agent banged instead of the normal Jr Park Ranger badge. My boys collect the badges so it was a must see place to visit. We learned about General / President Eisenhower...More

You can only get to the Eisenhower home by taking a shuttle bus from the Gettysburg Museum & Visitor Center. The price of the ticket was very reasonable. At the home, the docents were very knowledgeable and told stories about the Eisenhowers and their guests....More

I expected an ex-president of the United States to live in a mansion. Ike did not. The house is very simple, decorated with the original furnishings. Gorgeous views from the hillside. The automobile exhibit was a huge disappointment. We got to peek at the cars...More

No visit to Gettysburg would be complete without a visit to the farm of the Eisenhowers. Tickets are purchased at the Gettysburg Military Visitors Center for $9/adult. A shuttle bus then takes you to the farm as there is no parking available. Park rangers will...More

Great staff, very well organized. This is my third time there and have never been disappointed. It is a wonderful property and they have done a great job preserving everything.

First visit for us. Rangers were very friendly and informative. House had a nice historic presence. Tour was self paced and interesting.

My children go to an elementary school named in his honor, so we had to stop. It is a bus tour that leaves from the Gettysburg museum and visitors center and is a short ride to their home and farm. There is a small tour...More

We enjoyed visiting the home of Dwight and Mamie Eisenhower. We were there and hour and a half. You get to see quite a bit of the home; and the grounds are just beautiful. What a wonderful place to reside!

Had a great time visiting where Eisenhower and his wife lived. So cool to know you are walking where he walked. Step back in time. So great

I think they were about $ 7.50 p/p. Can be purchased at the battleground visitor center. There is a shuttle bus from there (no private cars allowed at the farm).

The farm is open year-round, however the hours vary based on the season. The best choice is to check out the official NPS website for Eisenhower NHS; or to call the Site itself or the Gettysburg NMP Visitor Center... More
