My adult son had his tintype made here on Sept 29 2016. I went in with him just to hang out. Wow! Tish made this entire experience fun, educational and memorable :) She is an amazing photographer, and explained the entire process step-by-step, from how the camera worked to the chemicals used in the wet plate developing to the props... Just stopped in by chance. Discovered a sweet, energetic young lady who was brimming with historic information about photography. She gets all kinds of requests about how people want their photograph to look. Stop in and ask her about some of them:) The quaint little shop is full of costumes and accessories for taking the perfect period photo. Some of... More

Not only do Del and Tish take great pictures, they are also fun to work with! We had our second picture taken with them this week. I have gone from a Cavalry Sargent to a Lieutenant with dress Hardee hat! Can't wait to get another one! Maybe I'll make General next time! Great prices on their packages as well! A... More

The owner waited on our family of four. She was very sweet and taught us a lot during the dressing and photo experience. Would highly recommend her. She books up so make an appointment.

We made an appointment for a wet plate photo for two. The owner was very sweet and even dressed myself and my boyfriend. They have a whole wardrobe! It was great! They use authentic headstands, and the best part is that the owner (and photographer) does the development of the wet plate right in front of your eyes. It takes... More

The entire experience from start to finish was A+ top notch! At first the wet plate/tintype process is explained, and there's nothing quite like eventually watching the photo appear before you almost as if magic. After being explained the process, and having to decide on Costumes, with some help from the owner, we sat down with stern face for 30... More

This was so much more than simply a photo shoot -- it was a truly memorable experience from start to finish! We got there a little early and had a chance to talk to some of the reinactors, who had been getting their photos taken in the session just before us. One of the guys had been in a few... More

This was a great experience for our family. The Studio provides clothes AND even help with modern women's hair. We learned about photography of the time and talked about what the look of the photo would be (in our case a young man getting ready to go to war). Remember to stay still! (our daughter is a little blurry) This... More
