To visit La Ventana Arch you have to drive a number of miles down HWY 114. Although marked, it is quite easy to bypass as the marker for the site is fairly close to the arch. When I visited, it was obvious that park personnel...More

This is a very nice natural arch. Right along main road through the park - you can see it as you drive by. There is a large parking area (with large spots for RV's too). They list a picnic area on the map, but we...More

A lot of places claim to be "natural arches", but this place is the genuine article! Deceptively large and impressive; but don't give in to the temptation to go off trail and try to climb this thing (which is forbidden, anyway!)

Having been to the parks in Utah that have many stone arches, this is a good one. For you Photogers out there, the best time appears to be after lunch. You're shooting facing east so let the sun come around behind you to light up...More

This Arch is a wonder to behold. You can see it from the road but to get the full effect you need to stop and park and walk in about 300 yards. It is really gorgeous.

This route through Quemado was a great alternative to Highway 40. We used La Ventana as a spot to stretch our legs and use the only bathroom for many miles. Unfortunately, it is a pit toilet that was very stinky, but I was grateful for...More

Great arch. Largest natural arch in New Mexico I understand. Easy walk to base of arch. Wheelchair accessible.

Not sure how large your large rv is. The parking was open and accessible and could accommodate an 7 person rental type rv. It was also not very busy so you may just be able to park on the side.
