Eleanore Roosevelt is my hero. Her life is inspiring and the tour and talk are entertaining and inspirational. It’s a lovely property with opportunities to walk the trails of the grounds for free.

I have visited many of the Roosevelts’ homes and am always amazed by how unassuming they are. Hyde Park and Campabello are grand, but in no way opulent and Warm Springs and ValKill are very simple. I can just imagine Eleanor using ValKill as a...More

This alone is just another building, but with a guided tour, it was a peek into history and into the life of Eleanor and her lady friends. If you have time, take the self guided hike between here and the Roosevelt farm.
