We walked this in the day time and then at night. It was such a beautiful site to see. We walked hand in hand. Very romatic! You must see. The lighting at night is awesome.

We often walk to the river walk and have the kids ride bikes or just stroll and enjoy the view. Its usually breezy and a very nice feature of jacksonville

Nice views across the river. The walk offers a place to jog or take pictures. Some reviews have mentioned homeless folks there but saw no signs of them on our trip.

Walked from Jacksonville Landing to the Cummer and back. On the way you'll get to see, first hand, some of the homeless folk that live and hang out along this walk. Did I feel threatened? Nope. But I certainly wouldn't be walking along here alone...More

I recommend the riverwalk while visiting Jacksonville. it offers great views and is very refreshing - especially during a road trip :)

Honestly, there are a lot of places I would choose before Riverwalk. It's pretty empty with many closed up businesses. About an hour north is St Simon's Island, a lot nicer place to visit and much more romantic.

No. Across the river from the landing on the Southbank. You can take the water Taxi from the landing across to the Southbank.
