This zoo had very nice ambiance and the habitats were very well done. However, they didn't have a lot of animals that my local small zoo had (koala, panda). It was worth $10

Great zoo. Our family enjoyed the day. You can feed the giraffes. Workers give you greens to feed them.

This was our first visit to the Jacksonville Zoo, and we had a wonderful time. We are members of the Cincinnati Zoo, so we took advantage of the half price reciprocal admission, and upgraded to the Total Experience tickets. The Total Experience tickets include admission,...More

What a fun day, and mom's got in free on Saturday. The animals were pretty active, the tiger cubs, adorable and I loved the garden areas. The art and garden show was fun, the band was a special surprise. My first visit to Jax zoo,...More

We were pleasantly surprised that mom’s received free admission today. It was a very crowded day, but we enjoyed the exhibits. The giraffes were our favorite animals to visit today. The zoo was easy to navigate with a stroller.

We had a great time. Exhibits were great. Only downside: Great Apes exhibit is closed for a remodel.

Tropical plants and animals in natural settings, spacious and compact. We walked about 3 miles over a few hours and enjoyed most of the zoo, will return again for the scheduled shows and a train ride with the little ones.

Getting there was very easy. We got there on a Saturday about 45 minutes after opening. To my surprise there was plenty of great parking and the lines were not long at all to buy tickets. As all similar places, there was limited amount of...More

I’m a pass holder and have a great experience every time I visit the zoo. The food is actually decent if you’re hungry. I’m excited for the new exhibit to be completed. Great attraction that’s not expensive. I like that they offer a military discount...More

There is a discount. The price would be $17.95 and you need some sort of military identification.

They are made of a hard plastic and just big enough for two smaller (2-3 year olds) kids to lay down on. I would recommend a towel or blanket to put down on the bottom of the stroller. I’m not sure of the age of your kids... More

I’m not sure if there is one at the zoo. However, there are places, such as the gasoline station near by that have one. The next time I’m there I will look for one.
