Got great photos

Got great photos of the shipwreck. Saw elk. The beach was beautiful! It really was a perfect place to go as a couple

The wreck has almost disappeared. It's no longer a featured attraction. Let it go. There are many more attractive beaches.

We were not sure our two teens would enjoy it but surprisingly we had a good time and enjoyed the history. There is a lot of walking from one building to the other as well as along the beach. You can really picture the way it was and the hardship of the old days and being a soldiers. My daughters... More

This is an excelent place to see history from a defferent era. Museum is well cared for. Supported by firewood sold in campground.

I really enjoyed this beach. I do wish so many people weren't there. The sunken shop was a fun addition and sparked some interesting conversations with my sons.

Lots of trails to explore at the park - even if you're not camping here. Fun places for all ages - pet friendly and plenty of space to take the bikes out as well.

The old fort is nothing more than foundations, but the gun embankments from WWI & WWII are all in place. They offer two tours during the summer months one in an... More

This campground has changed so much since I was a child. Yes it's different but it's not bad at all. There are so many opportunities at this site especially for family trips.

Really brings you back to the days that Fort Stevens was an operational base. It was really nasty, rainy. windy, weather when we went, so, we pretty much ran from place to place, Great experience

This park contains an abandoned military installation, including former gun batteries facing the ocean. It was actually fired on once by a Japanese sub; now there's a peace monument marking the location. The road takes you up a narrow spit of land with the ocean on one side and the riverfront on the other, where you can see what's left... More
