The city's native son, the Great Bambino, is celebrated in the house he was born in, now a museum stocked with memorabilia like the catcher's mitt he used while learning baseball, the bat from his famed 1927 season and exhibits honoring the Orioles.

Must see for all. My son is not a sports fan but he was very interested. He asked many questions that were happily answered by knowledgeable staff.

If you are a baseball fan, this is the place to visit. A tribute to American baseball and Babe Ruth. Small museum in the birth place of this legend. Entrance 10 $. Around the corner from Hilton/Marriott/DaysInn/Holiday Inn.

Went here during a break at a conference with another baseball fan. Wasn't really expected much but it did better than I though. It is a smaller museum - expect maybe an hour or two here - but surprised me with information I had not...More

The Birthplace is located a stones throw from Camden Yards. The Babe's father had a bar that was located in the outfield. Lots of memorabilia!

You baseball purists will remember Babe Ruth...this is the house where he was born with some of the original items still there...it's not far from Camden Yards where the current Orioles play

Though a pretty low-key museum, a lot of hard work has been put into this museum. You can get a good idea what his home looked like back in the day, and just how small it was. His actual living area is pretty well kept...More

And don't hate the Yankees this is the place for you. Most don't know the Babe was born and raised here, they just think of New York or possibly Boston where he played. Nice collection and not that expensive

There is a back entrance which doesn't have stairs and an elevator. The website has a place to contact the museum and also a phone number so call and make sure.
