The city's native son, the Great Bambino, is celebrated in the house he was born in, now a museum stocked with memorabilia like the catcher's mitt he used while learning baseball, the bat from his famed 1927 season and exhibits honoring the Orioles.

The Birthplace is located a stones throw from Camden Yards. The Babe's father had a bar that was located in the outfield. Lots of memorabilia!

You baseball purists will remember Babe Ruth...this is the house where he was born with some of the original items still there...it's not far from Camden Yards where the current Orioles play

Though a pretty low-key museum, a lot of hard work has been put into this museum. You can get a good idea what his home looked like back in the day, and just how small it was. His actual living area is pretty well kept...More

And don't hate the Yankees this is the place for you. Most don't know the Babe was born and raised here, they just think of New York or possibly Boston where he played. Nice collection and not that expensive

As the name indicates, the building is both a home and a museum on Babe Ruth. More of a museum though, as only 2 rooms have actually been preserved with period furniture. The rest of it, have displays, in relation to the life of Babe...More

The family and I decided we had to see the home of a legend. Took us by surprise how such a small house accomodated such a big man:-) The video presentation was chock full of information about the Babe. Quick trip.

There is a back entrance which doesn't have stairs and an elevator. The website has a place to contact the museum and also a phone number so call and make sure.
