I go to the inner Harbor a lot, and I have never noticed this place. We were with friends who are members of the Richmond science center and they were able to get free admission here, so we joined them. Within 20 minutes, my 14-year-old told me, "I could spend all day here." We saw an IMAX show and two... More

We took our five year old with cousin and friend for a fun-filled adventure. We made it through maybe half of what the Science Center had to offer and the kids can't wait to go again! Lots of fun for the kids and parents alike :) The location is spectacular! I could really see us making a day out of... More

Bought a family membership for son's family and they use it regularly. Our 2 1/2 yer old grandson dragged us around the museum. He never gets tired of going there. Lots of hands on activities for kids of many ages. The pass gives the ability for guests to go on the same card so when grandparent visit, they can take... More

Like the Franklin Museum in Philly, this is a hands-on place where kids get to explore and learn. If you are with two kids in the 4-6 range, figure on 3 hours, but get them something to eat mid-way. There are plenty of rooms large and small to visit and they don't even realize that they are learning. And neither... More

I went there with my almost 3-year old son, husband and his parents. Everyone enjoyed it. Right when you enter, there are many hands on exhibits to test scientific principles. We all split up into our own little area and spent at least 20 minutes right there! Before heading elsewhere. The planetarium is free with admission and they have a... More

This is a better spot for kids than adults, but still a cool place to go and get some knowledge. They had the bodies exhibit there a few years back, which was cool but creepy. They also have an Imax theater.

Standard big city science museum. Areas that were particularly good and different include section on space and the universe as well as a nice exhibit on Maryland crabs.

excellent, interactive museum for kids of many ages. Science, animals, space, etc. it's all there and even the most crazy kid can bounce from one exhibit to the next, while the more focused ones can linger. Nice location along the Harbor so you can make a day of it with the other activities nearby if you wish.

Allow at least three hours for this attraction. Maybe more if you go to the planetarium and IMAX shows. You can also watch all the demos and touch the displays you can touch. So much to do and so much to learn.
