If you are going to go for a spiffy race, go to the Black Eyed Susan, the day before the Preakness. The place is decorated to the hilt because the Preakness is the next day. The racing is great. Fabulous horses, world class jockeys and trainers. Dress in pink because the day is a benefit for the Susan G. Komen... More

First time at Belmont Stakes. Enjoyed myself but was a little dismayed at the antiquated race facility. I paid $160 for concourse seating which was basically a plastic chair placed in the dirt just outside the track. Really?? Uncomfortable but at least I was close to the action. Betting staff was pleasant, patient, and helpful. Expected more modern surroundings.

We have been coming to the Black Eyed Susan and Preakness races for many years. Each year is worse than the last. This year they have disgraced the program and Maryland racing in general. It is as if they are fighting along side the others trying to get the Preakness out of Baltimore. Sad to see such a great tradition... More

If you are going to the races selecting the right seats is tricky and extremely confusing online. Get your tickets early for the best selection and expect to spend upwards of $300/day per ticket. Staff are uninformed and tickets are restrictive to one area and once you leave your area, you are unable to return. If you pay for "all... More

I had the opportunity to attend the 2017 Preakness, as I was given 6 free Tix, all in Concourse seating. I couldn't get anyone I know to go with me. I have never been to any sort of horse race, let alone any major horse race; I'm glad I took this opportunity. I was a great experience, which I hope... More

Please, someone, help out this poor racetrack and give it some love! There is a lot of history and tradition, but the track is showing every bit its age!

We were here the week before the Preakness, and it was rainy and cold, so there weren't many people around. We just wanted to see it, so we were only there for one race, late in the afternoon. The general atmosphere is that everything is just a bit tired, which is a shame. The owners have not put anywhere near... More

Got infield passes and grandstand seats. Infield is incredible people watching. Honestly wish I had gone in my 20s. With three stages, multiple bars, carnival/ circus food options it would have been like spring break in May in college... or soon thereafter. That being said it was a lot of fun even for an old fart like me and my... More

The Pimlico Race track is the 2nd oldest in the US and in dire need of updating facilities and management styles. I was recently at the track on a stormy day with water pouring in from the Grandstand ceilings. At best, expect 3d world quality for the racetrack that is the home to the historic 2nd jewel of the Triple... More

We attended the running of the Preakness here last year and had a grand time. The second leg of the Triple Crown Horse Races, The Preakness is an event not to be missed. The historic Pimlico Race track is the second oldest in the US .Saratoga is the oldest. If you have horsey connections, wrangle a ticket to the Alibi... More
