Biking, walking, running-everyone welcome. Most of the trail is along the road but dome parts go thru trees and parks. It's all paved so perfect for bikers. It's also over 20 miles so you don't need to worry about being bored. I usually run part of the trail about 4-5 mi and park on Dorsey road not too far from... More

It's a good trail, all paved, mostly for bikers. This trail crosses with Baltimore-Annapolis Trail. Took me like 40 min to find where the general public parking. Just south of BWI on Dorsey road there is a free parking lot. Bring your own water. Portable bathrooms are available. If you are a light runner(couple of miles a day), park in... More

Great beginner ride. Well marked. Ride through horse farm, over bridges and enjoy watching planes take off and come in. Also great play ground for kids

The BWI bike trail runs from Route 50 and Route 2 near Annapolis, heads north and takes a loop around the BWI airport. The ride one way is 25 miles. The loop around the airport can be challenging if your not in shape. Multiple hills and some big and long. Many area's to take a break while riding.

I was staying at a hotel near the airport and did a google search for a good place to go for a run and was pleasantly surprised to find out about this trail, only .5 miles from my hotel. What is really cool is being able to run and have the planes overhead. Signs are easy to follow and there... More

My review is from the eyes of a cyclist. This is a great loop ride around BWI. It has slight variations in elevation with one moderate hill. There is parking at an park, but that parking gets very crowded, very early on a weekend. But, if you located it on a map, you will there are plenty of places around... More

It is worth the time to take a bike ride around the BWI trail. Yoiu can also walk it if you really like walking. It is quite popular in the spring and summer.

BWI Trail is a regular trail for us and our two children, 5 and 11. The path is entirely paved, suitable for road bikes or mountain bikes. The loop is approximately 11 miles. If you plan to bike the entire loop with children, you may want to park on Andover road (at one of the schools) or on 170. With... More
