The institute is a gem! I wish more people know of it's existence I visited about a year ago. As a musician, I have much appreciation for all genres, especially jazz! Please spread the word about this wonderful place.

I have visited the jazz institute and taken several classes at the cultural center the place is well staffed and has a very diverse activity level many community activities as well as knowledge about Eubie Blake

Nice walk to this area with Antique stores etc. Explains this important composer and artist who spaned a long time in music.

This is a small place that's right across the street from Maryland General Hospital. You can get there by taking the light rail and walking about 3 blocks north. The neighborhood is gentrifying and it shows. That said, we felt safe walking in the area....More
