The arboretum is a bit small, and not too exotic, you can take your time and still spend less then 1 hour which is good for small children attention. Ample parking. You can spend more time walking thru the park outside. Admission is a $5 donation so it's not expensive.

We were taking a walk though the park and came across the conservatory. It was cold, so we decided to go in and get warm. So glad we did! The plants were beautiful. There are three different climate zones represented, plus a orchid room. I was especially impressed with the wall of air plants! Outside, there is a rose garden... More

My wife and I have been to the conservatory on many occasions. This is a small gem of a spot situated on the border of Druid Hill Park in what at one time was Baltimore's most fashionable neighborhoods. Check the hours before you go to be sure it is open as the Consevatory is not really on your way to... More

It may not be huge inside, but it satisfies on multiple levels. It makes you want to be a better gardener. It makes you want to go home and take better care of your plants. It transports you to the best gardens and conservatories you have admired. It makes you feel happy that you decided to come visit. Not usually... More

This is a hidden gem in this city. This place dates to the 19th century and contains a marvelous collection of plants from several exotic environments and a lovely room of orchids!

This is a cool little spot in Baltimore, in a lesser known area to the tourists. As a local Baltimorean, we know which parts of the city to avoid and where to travel. Druid Hill is an area, with a mixed population. It's sad that the park is surrounded by so much crime and housing in disrepair. I'm sure that... More

This is such a cool place. There are several rooms with different kinds of awesome plants and flowers. The building itself is beautiful and there are even plants for sale in the main entrance area.

This is a beautiful attraction to come when you are heading to this park for the Maryland Zoo. Plenty of parking right outside and a slight walk to the entrance. It's really beautiful inside with various segmented garden areas ie: Meditteranean, dessert...etc Not a major draw of an attraction...don't know why not? Please make it a destination and visit this... More

There are great collections here and they had some plants for sale. I loved the air plants and cacti. It wasn't busy when I went there, maybe a few more people, so free parking right in front of the building was available. Lock your doors. ;)
