Spent several days at the Chateau in Nemacolin recently with my wife. Played golf 3 times on mystic rock and once at Shepherds. Both courses exceptional. I favor Mystic because it is in phenomenal condition and difficult, but fair. Caddie service with Rob made my...More

This is a fun course to play and is playable. Elevation changes. Greens are fair, but most seem to be elevated. Par threes are challenging, but not unplayable. Surroundings are quiet--no houses. Would play more often if I lived up there. The hotels at the...More

Yeah- it's hard. It isn't long, but you have to be precise. It was in good shape for early season. We played after 2, didn't get a forecaddy, and it was fine. I only lost one ball, so unless you are someone who likes the...More

I have played this course for the last five years and love every visit. Always demanding tee shots with large greens that require expert reading to solve. Mystic is in the top 5 of my all time favorites and one of Pete Dye's best.

Very challenging Golf Course. Stay out of the rough, keep to the fairways. Nice Scenery. We were told we had to take a Caddy, so we did. He was actually a wonderful caddy. We noticed on the 2nd hole the two groups in front of...More

A great overall experience. Home to the PGA tour event from 2003-2006. Mystic Rock is a great top rated golf course. The premium rate accounts for the round, GPS enabled golf carts, a forecaddie and bottled water. Overall, it was a very challenging course and...More

Great golf course, nice views and good character. There were four in our group and the pace of play was perfect. Very nice practice range and greens. Clubhouse merchandise way overpriced which is to be expected. Would definitely recommend and would go back again!

Great course at Nemacolin built by Pete Dye, generally at the top of the hills/mountain. This was our 5th trip there in 18 years - much has changed, but Mystic Rock remains a high point at the resort. Greens, fairways and tees were all in...More

Enjoyed the weekend experience with our teenage children. Lots of activities and things to do. Although a quick trip to Nemacolin, the place was filled with memorable activities.
