The gazebo was donated by Burt Reynolds. The square is peaceful and wasn't crowded.Laid out in 1851, Whitefield Square was the last square to be build in the downtown Savannah area. It is dedicated to Rev. George Whitefield, a pastor.

This is a square that sits near a couple of retirement homes. We mainly saw locals using the park. They made us feel very welcome. The gazebo is adorable, as is all of the park. The square is very beautiful.

My niece and her best friend had the pleasure of getting married in Whitefield Square. With it's tree lined square, gazebo in the center, violin music and flowers, they couldn't have picked a more beautiful place to get married.

I love this square. I ride my bike through this square all the time. I think it has a lot more than some of the other notible squares. It has a more historic natural feel. I like the benches too. Also theres a retirement home...More
