IF this is River Street and not Bay Street as it says then: Lots of restaurants and, unfortunately, T-shirt and souvenir shops to spend time in. There were other shops for the women too and my wife very much enjoyed the shopping to be had....More

Kinda Boubon street is right, The people are very friendly but the cobble stone street was what sold me. It is allmost like the street has a soul and a story to tell. I loved it very much. Next year I will return.

There are lots of shops to visit along the Riverwalk in Savannah. Specialty honey, clothing, souvenirs and many handcrafted items. As you walk along you can stop and take a break and watch the boats go by in the river. It is one of the...More

Loved the industrial and historical feel of the place. Cobblestone streets, watching the boats on the river was our favorite part. The bars, restaurants and shops are small and tight and the smells aren’t always favorable.

A road of cobblestones, pubs, restaurants and tourist shops. Walking along the river is lovely and there is a free water taxi that runs back and forth across the river every 10 minutes or so. A must do in Savannah

Took a walk along River Street. There is a nice view of the river and several statues/monuments to see. One side of the street is the river the other is filled with restaurants, bars and shops. You can practically get anything you want here. Fun...More

Along with so much else that’s wonderful about Savannah this area is must see. Walk, shop, dine, it has it all. Watch the boats while enjoying a beverage.

St. Patrick’s Day in Savannah is always a huge disappointment. Too many drunks, too many people from out of town trashing our beautiful city and too many people walking in the parade 👎 Few events in America glorify... More

We only tried 2 on the river. fiddler's Crab House & Huey's. Both were good. outside of that, our worst meal was at Lady & Son's (it wasn't bad; but it wasn't great). The Old Pink House is a must!
