This museum is under 10 dollars to enter and is quite interesting, however we really only went as we wanted to see the bench from the movie Forest Gump. It was donated to the museum after the film finished. It does also contain a replica...More

I was a bit bored by this museum. The lighting was pretty dark making some exhibits hard to read. It did provide a few laughs though. But in a good way😊

We thoroughly enjoyed the Savannah History Museum! Small but nicely done. Particularly enjoyable was the Revolutionary War "reenactment" which we participated in. Sgt. We paid $7.50/person to walk through this tiny museum. Some of the stuff looked like it was put together by high school students for a history project. I wouldn't waste my time when there are other places to visit.

Lots of local history and things to learn about Savannah. Forest Gump's bus bench is also housed here. My Girl Scouts did a scavenger hunt while visiting. I think it made them pay more attention to what they were seeing...kids aren't into history as much...More

Savannah has so much to discover. And I didn't discover this place until the last day. There are other museums near here as well. It is a smaller museum located inside a old train building. The museum takes you through the history of the town,...More

We visited both the Train museum (Central of Georgia), which was quite fun for my husband, his dad worked for the Central of Ga. and the History Museum. The guides were all very interesting and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend both for families with elementary age...More
