It is an interesting fact-filled museum. There is a special presentation about the Battle of Savannah that starts out as interesting but ends up with everyone carrying "muskets" and "sabers" and holding flags, walking outside, doing "military drills" and pretending to attack the British positions...More

The gem, however, is the participatory reenactment of the Siege of Savannah during the Revolutionary War, Thursday-Saturday at 10:30, 12:30, and 2:30. Our commander (Sgt. Bradford) introduced us to the beginnings...More

Wonderful history! This Museum should not be missed and if you can be there for the reenactment which is done at 10:30am and 12:30pm - don't miss it. It's great for adults and children. The exhibits are well done and very approachable.

Kids were initially reluctant but then we ended up spending long time. They especially enjoyed the tour with historical dressed guide and musket demonstration.
