This is a great place to spend an afternoon or come back at night for the entertainment. Some great clothing stores and quaint specialty shops. Awesome spice store with anything you can imagine. Great place to grab lunch and a cocktail.

This is a three block shopping area with many places to eat and shop. There is music and homeless there as well. Given the whole surrounding area its not that special. I thought River st was nicer.

Many taverns, art galleries, and shops although I seemed to be cursed that so many were closed when they were listed as having open hours the day I went. Some of the street musicians had lovely voices. Just be super careful on those historic steps....More

Many charming shops to visit, get some freebies of candy and just make up your mind what to do next.Sitting watching street action is entertaining. There is always some ice cream closeby for "sustenance" if it's hot and it was in July.

City Market is a few blocks away from the riverfront. A number of eclectic shops, art stores, the Prohibition Museum and the Georgia Tasting Room. This is a nice place for the inexpensive tasting of wines from the south.

Many shops in a group of buildings, many restaurants nearby, on New Years Eve, bands were playing to entertain the crowds of revelers. A fun spot to visit. There a good cookie shop, do not miss that.

Savannah is not only beautiful but has a lot of colonial buildings and seems like a city from the old era. It reminded me of England in a lot of ways. The city market has a lot of shops and there's this "Leopold's ice cream"...More

The Pirates House has a good menu if you don't mind being away from the hub of activity found on River Street and City Market areas.

Not totally sure...I would assume they probably stay open as late as they do other nights...- a touristy area.
