Attended a play-off game to watch the Savannah Sand Gnats. Had seats in the 2nd section right behind home plate (1st section has 4 rows, then walkway, then 2nd section which consists of 6 rows) - paid $9.00 for the seat! 2nd section is also covered, which helped when the rains came during the game - we were kept dry.... We always like to get a sense of a town's local flavor by attending a sporting event. In Savannah, the minor league baseball team is the Sand Gnats. They play at Grayson stadium about 10 minutes from downtown. The ball park was just renovated so it's a sanitized blast from the past. It still maintains that rustic exterior, but the... More

Going to see a game at Grayson Stadium in Savannah is like stepping back in time. It has all the charm of a 1930's baseball game. The ticket and concession prices are very reasonable, the view from the stands is great and the ceiling fans are a nice touch. Getting to the stadium is easy and parking is no problem.... More

This is what baseball should be about! Great family atmosphere. Parents can enjoy their children watching the game. Yummy snacks and food. Great chicken strips and you must try the ice cream.

We enjoy visiting both minor and major league games while on vacation and this was our first visit to Savannah's Grayson Stadium. It was wonderful! Great historic stadium with reasonable ticket prices and concessions. Our teenage kids enjoyed the game, and it was a cooler break from the heat of touring the city. If you enjoy baseball, definitely stop in... More

Well the weekend started nicely with the rain holding off and a Friday night at Grayson Stadium. Our company decided to picnic at the stadium and the facility was just great. Dating to the late 20's make no mistake... Grayson Stadium could have been called "outdated" but it isn't. There is a great sound system, big-screen video feed, friendly staff,... More

We absolutely loved walking the town if Savannah but after seeing so many historical sites we needed a break for our minds and our feet. We drive a very shirt distance from town and took in a Savannah Sand Gnats game at the grand old Grayson Stadium located in a lovely park in Victory Street. Tickets were just $12.00 and... More

My husband was looking forward to attending a game here due to the stadium history. We easily bought tickets online ahead of time and stadium was easy to locate. But the parking is not sufficient. If you are a season ticket holder you get the prime parking lot, otherwise you have to park where ever you can find legal parking.... More
