This review is about the golf course at Wilmington Island. It is a first rate club with a very good staff. It was the nicest course on this visit to the Savannah area. It was well maintained. We were the first ones on the course this day so we went at our own pace. It is a long course for... More

As I am ne two the Tybee Island area I have been using GolfNow to find the local golf courses. it allows a lower rate to play so you can try it out. This was money well spent, an old time golf course that has maintained the entire resort type setting. A must stop if your on Tybee Island for... More

Very nice looking property. We were passing through Savannah and stopped off to play a round of golf. It was sunny and cold, but the place was cart path only because they had a ton of rain the day before. So the place was not in the best of shape. It had 2 or 3 nice holes and rest was... More

played on Saturday afternoon - staff could not have been friendlier. Course in good shape - greens especially good! Great track - and good value for money. Would play again (hopefully better next time - ha ha!)

Course condition was good. I played it because it was the closest to Tybee. Not too difficult with a lot of sand traps. Staff was helpful in that they helped me get an earlier tee time but other than that not overly welcoming. Free range balls. Great pace of play on the day I played.

Played golf with a group from Bluffton SC. Beautiful old course setting with plenty of bunker play. I'd recommend this traditional track if you're in the area.

A beautiful good club setting in a comfortable restaurant in the Wilmington Island Clubhouse, located next to the historic remake of the old General Oglethorpe Hotel or later the Savannah Inn Resort. They serve a top notch She Crab Soup along with a good choice of burgers, shrimp salad and other sandwiches and salads. A different venue for a nice... More

Absolutely loved this course! My wife and I finished up our combo golf/sightseeing trip and first visit to the south by playing this course, and we went home very happy golfers. I wanted to play a Donald Ross course, if possible, and this beauty sits just outside Savannah in a picture perfect area next to the river. The layout and... More

Booked this for two on Golfnow for the low price of $30 each with cart. We teed off at 8:15, and finished in 3.25 hours. Complimentary range balls included. The course is pretty wide open, and well maintained. Staff was friendly. We liked it so much, we booked again the next day, and managed to get around in 3 hours... More

I thought they were unclear about their hours, then we wound up feeling we had "inconvenienced" them. They weren't rude about it, but it was definitely awkward. The food was nice. I was actually only visiting the restaurant, the other facilities may be better.
