Great place for RR buffs and loads of Georgia history. It is easy walking and get the guided tour. It is constantly improving.

This place is facinating, it is a Round House, railroad repair shop and is functional (for entertainment only) and is thoroughly enjoyable to watch, look and participate in.

This museum has some huge open air exhibits and shows the development of the railways in Georgia. The executive train, boiler house and garden were especially interesting. There are planned activities throughout the day. Well worth the time. Next to the visitors centre.

We offer guided tours 10:30-12:00 and 1:00-4:00. Site Tours by Train are currently at 11:00, 11:30, 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00. You are not required to view the orientation film. We also have a playroom called Locomotion Lab... More
