The Visitor's Center and History Museum were good places to get to know about Savannah's history (compliment that with a bus tour, and you get a pretty good vision of how Savannah arose and grew.) Really appreciated the movie, narrated from Oglethorpe's point of view. We saw it last, but you really should see it first. Great exhibits. Glad we... More

why does this show the Tybee light house? The address shown in on MLK which is the Savannah Visitor's Center. Wonder why they have not corrected this.

I came here various times during my stay in Savannah. The people are great the shop is cute and the views from above are amazing! I would recommend this place for sure! The lighthouse and the grounds are very well kept! They were under some renovations in March 2017 so I haven't been back in since!

The place was packed, and there wasn't any information there that wasn't available on the web. Unless you need a restroom (there are two sets here that are free), skip it. You can move straight on to the museum downstairs and to the right.

This place is jam packed with information. Plenty of parking (free on Sunday), and tour buses leave from the parking lot. The free city bus stops on MLK Dr. right outside.

This museum consisted of several areas that took you back to the historic times of Savannah. It was well organized and very interesting. Worth seeing.

Friendly folk man the office and there is a great assortment of maps and brochures. The free dot bus to go around town stops out front as do the various pay trolley tours.

This place was packed when we tried to stop and visit, That was the only draw back. Other than that it is worth stopping to check it out.

There is lots to see in Savannah and stopping by here lets you get oriented. You can ask questions and get brochures to learn where to go and also book some activities. Easy parking.
