Its like going back in time to the True Grit days. You expect to see John Wayne. Very interesting with lots of artifacts and memories of the old times in Ft. Smith and surrounding area.

The Arkansas Martin Luther King Commission is planning a program at the museum and the staff was extremely helpful with our questions. Also they have interesting exhibits that reflect the rich history of Fort Smith.
