This was a hidden gem! I took the self-tour of the grounds in less than an hour. The site is well preserved and provided a look at what Soldiers endured during the 19th Century. Plenty of parking, no cost, and you get a little exercise...More

This Fort is part of the National Park Service. Has beautiful views of the river and if you look closely Mt Vernon! The lighthouse is tiny but worth checking out. Can't climb it though. The fort itself is an enjoyable hike. Lots of "hidden" rooms...More

Attended yoga in the park.Great scenery. The park is huge. I never knew about all of these locations throughout the park. A lot of history to see.

It is mostly accessible by wheelchair. There are some steep inclines and pebbly surfaces but vehicles can get close and park next to most attractions - better to drive between different sections of park than to use... More
