My husband was the one who wanted to visit this place, and my kids and I went along. Kriss Potts was the Park Ranger Guide who told us so much information about JFK and his family that I thought my head was going to explode!...More

My husband and I took our daughter and two grandchildren, ages 11 and 6, for a tour of the JFK early childhood home. It is on a typical residential street, surrounded by private homes. The National Park Service connected a fine inspirational tour, giving us...More

I am new to Boston and my room mate worked as a historian out there as a tour guide. So I had no idea of JFK. But after going there you can feel that you are literally experiencing his childhood experiences. The video of 12...More

We had a great tour guide, Sara, who gave a thorough explanation of the house and all its history. There is a movie at the end of the tour that goes more into detail about his presidency. Overall nice quick visit.

The JFK birthplace is on a quiet, tree lined street, waiting for visitors. There are guided tours during the day and after 4:00 PM you can borrow a listening device and see the home where Joseph and John were born on your own. You will...More

Historically interesting but a fairly unimpressive house in a slightly obscure location.Go if you're nearby, but not worth a detour for most.

That's what we were lacking at the JFK Museum and Library but got plenty of at this site! Individual tour gave us the glimpse on the Kennedy's family lifestyle and lots of memorable details about JFK's early childhood. I would say that Park Rangers stuff...More

This was a quaint view of the Kennedy family life and their early days as a family. I really appreciated the extent that Rose Kennedy (JFK's Mother) had in creating the space and how it is shown today, donating it to the National Park Service,...More

Excellent guided tour of the house where JFK was born in 1917 and where he lived for the first four years of his life. They offer an excellent (and free of charge) thirty-minute tour. If you're interested in history, this is a must-see.

Depends on where you are in Boston, but if you're coming from Park Street Station right next to Boston Common it's about 3.5 miles or 30 min on the C Line of the T (subway). Take the C to Coolidge Corner, then it's a 1 mile... More
