OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, NO DROP-INS ACCOMMODATED. PLEASE CALL FIRST. Enjoy a walk through the boreal forest of Alaska with our curious and gentle reindeer. Ruby, Olive, Willow, Jasper, Rufus, Daisy, Buttercup and Rocket will be your guides as you enjoy the beauty of Alaska's interior. See them romp free through the forest doing "reindeery" things. After our walk we will return to the house for a light refreshment and to finish up the conversation. Each time you come will be a unique experience. We are open year round by appointment only. Same day reservations sometimes available but you must contact us in advance. Winter cut off temperature -65 F.(That's a joke, it really never gets that cold, we cut off when you don't want to do it, we are always game! Reindeer love the cold!) Book Online on our website or facebook page.

After talking with Jane and walking with her reindeer, I feel as if I'm a reindeer expert! Jane knows her reindeer stuff. Very informative. I'm not in the best of shape, but the walk was the perfect amount of walking and then resting/talking. If you don't have good winter gloves and boots, she has extra pairs you can use.

We lived in Fairbanks for 5 years & we brought visitors here several times. Jane is a wonderful guide! She loves the reindeer (even though they started out as her daughter's "pets")! It's such a neat experience since most of us have never even been close to them - much less gone on a walk with them. It's especially fun... More

Once in a lifetime experience! We drove up and the place looked like a winter wonderland with snow everywhere and reindeer walking around the whole place. We went inside where they gave us the history of the place and great information on the animals. We then went on a walk with reindeer and it was the most amazing experience and... More

If you have the time and you like being surrounded by animals do not miss this opportunity! Jane shares her appreciation and fondness of her herd of reindeer with you and then you get to walk and interact with them. This was the highlight of our trip!

Don't miss this! You get to interact with sweet and fun Caribou. You can hug them and get some great photos. Ruby is the sweetest reindeer; find her for your best photo. If they are all booked up just give them a call and maybe they can fit you in for a short half hour instead of the full tour.

This ranch is run by a very nice family and the reindeer are friendly and provide a great photo opp. It's one more chance to walk in Alaska and learn about it and the reindeer while walking with reindeer! How fun is that!! I went with my 25ish year old adult children and they LOVED it!

This is a fabulous experience. A perfect combination of interacting with reindeer and learning about them. We thoroughly enjoyed Jane's tour, her warm and welcoming nature, and all that we learned about domesticated reindeer. A true highlight.

This was a wonderful experience to learn about the reindeers and see them on Jane's Ranch. She provided a wealth of knowledge and shared many of her experiences with them. I loved the stories she shared. The reindeers are quite friendly and it was fun to go on a walk with them and take our pictures with them. This should... More

The regular tours were booked during our time in Fairbanks, however the owners offered us a meet and greet with the reindeer for 30 minutes before their regular tour. We felt this time to be perfect because it was a cold day and we couldn't see walking for 2 hours with young children. The negatives were it was very crowded... More

Once in a lifetime experience in the snow before Christmas. The host gave you a lot of history of how they got into the reindeer walking tours. Then you got to walk right along side the reindeer taking a lot of great pictures, with opportunities to take close ups with a reindeer.
