Anything aviation related you wanted to know about Alaska could probably be found here. There are lots of displays to see including Will rogers and Wiley Post's Iron crosses.

Since this area has an air force base I would expect more out of this museum and park. But this it's probably ok since it is Alaska!

This museum is housed in Pioneer Park. It has a dozen or more airplanes inside that reflect the history of aviation in Alaska. Also as displays of motors and other artifacts involved in aviation. This is not the best Aviation museum I have ever been...More

It is located within Pioneer Park. You can find it, cause there is a big aircraft next to it. The collection is very good, and rich. Worth it!

This museum is small and charges a fee to enter. It is housed in a geodesic dome in Pioneer Park and has a few planes and several exhibits. If in the Park go see it, but I wouldn't make a separate trip for this.

We heard great things about this place but it was hard to get info on places being open in winter. So for those of you going during winter months, they aren't open. I think we would've enjoyed this so much but many places do close...More
