This is a historic trading post which is now privately owned and closed due to Covid. It is a stopping point along the Dalton Highway and does have couple of decent outhouses.

This was a cute little historic stop along our trip to see the Arctic Circle. Due to COVID 19 they were closed at the time of our visit so we couldn't go inside, but we did use the restrooms here and take pictures at the trading post.

Took a tour to this very isolated location some 65 miles north of Fairbanks to view the Northern Lights. Not recommended to drive to in the winter, let the professional tour drivers do the work! Great location to view the Northern Lights

Great rest/pee stop for our bus trip to the arctic Circle. Good way to learn how true Alaskans manage to live up there year round. Bathroom is an outhouse. all power comes from a gasoline generator. The owners must be wonderful people because over the years they took in dozens of foster kids and adopted several of them.

We traveled here as part of another adventure to see the Northern Lights. While I was unimpressed with the tour we went on, I was impressed with this little store. This place was originally set up as a lemon aid stand along the highway. The owners grandkids set up the stand to serve to truckers along the highway. They dug down several feet to keep the lemon aid cold to serve at the stand. Soon, they began to sell other items such as cold drinks and candy bars. The store then followed, as a stop for the truckers to come in. One thing the owners always made sure that the coffee was always free.
There are several old school outhouses on the property ( They do smell pretty rank) and there is even the lemon aid stand near the entrance.
The prices are fair considering the distance from anywhere here. If you are traveling the highway, this is a good stop to stretch your legs and possibly learn something new as well.

Stopped here for a pit stop on our Arctic Circle Tour. A unique place with lots of Tshirt, Alaskan items, snacks, etc. Coffee always ready. Attendant was super nice and friendly. Is in a rustic Alaskan cabin that is so cute. Bathrooms are outhouses, which is not uncommon in this area, but very clean outhouses. Great Place

Stop for coffee, muffins, whatever. Great t-shirts and hats and souvenirs. Clean outhouses. Lovely lady owns this place and you feel like you are sitting in her living room, all nice and cozy.

Loved the fancy outhouses w directions for use. Got my souvenir sweatshirt there. Nice people. Not cheap but it's a bit pricey here.

The Arctic Circle Trading Post is now run by the Northern Alaskan Tour Company as their place to view the Northern lights. It's a great spot about 80miles north of Fairbanks. I visited their twice on our trip to Fairbanks. The building is wonderfull with souvenirs and books being sold over the night. Staff are great and always happy to advise and help where they can. Great place to see the Northern Lights. Amenities are ok with no plumbing so drop toilets are the go.

As a part of the Aurora Drive Adventure we stayed there for a few hours, while waiting for aurora to appear. The passage from where the tour van parked and the house was frozen and slippery. They had an outhouse toilet for us to use. Inside the house we sat around the heater, and the owner told us a story about how he and his wife adopted many children.
The guide/driver showed each of us how to set our own cameras to take photos of aurora. I didn’t have a tripod, as I didn’t realise that my small camera (Panasonic DMC-TZ40) had the capacity to take night sky. Nevertheless, we didn’t see aurora during that night.
