I am in Dyker Heights often because it is a neighborhood close to my own. However, at Christmastime it becomes fantasy world. I visit every Christmas and bring family and friends who marvel at the decorations

You have to drive through this neighborhood for Christmas. Very cool. Restaurants along 3rd, 4th and even 5th ave are great to eat in before or after.

What a wonderful Christmas experience. We went there on a bus tour last December, and couldn't believe the effort the neighbourhood go to with all the lights. Think Home Alone and Christmas Vacation rolled into one.
