My husband and I enjoyed Jane’s Carousel and a walk near the water as boats criss-crossed under the Brooklyn Bridge. Then, we ducked inside a commercial style building for a coffee. All around pleasant experience.

Perfect antidote after the excruciating mass-walk of the bridge. Very nice neighborhood, lovely restaurants, DELICIOUS lobster rolls.

A walk into this fashionable area is a feast for the eyes, so much to see and great places to shop and eat. The views of both bridges are stunning and the cameras are clicking crazily. Sitting by the river edge to eat was a...More

It’s all in the header : good and fun places to dine, beautiful view on Manhattan, 20’ walk around, unless you shop. Don’t go there for the calm.

Walk the bridge then check out this up and coming area. Transformed from old warehouses to shops and restaurants with great photo opportunities. Children's play area and a nice walk along the waterfront where you can catch ferries and the water taxi. Don't miss it.

Pretty legit and trendy neighborhood. Real nice spot. There are a lot of shops, restaurants and random things to do around here. If you can live here, that would be ideal. Cool feeling here in this part of Brooklyn.

The area is beautiful. I definitely will be going back when the weather stabilizes. It's a cool vibe in Dumbo. I attended a party, the location and area made it perfect.

We took the walk from Manhattan to DUMBO for the picture of the ESB through the bridge. It was a nice walk across the Brooklyn Bridge and then a stroll through a neat little neighborhood. Then took a cool pic followed by subway back to...More

Great shops, restaurants and old-world charm. Check out the memorable view at Water and Main Streets (made famous by the film Once Upon a Time in America).

There are just so many things to do in Manhattan as a tourist may I suggest that you visit Harlem and go to Sylvia's Restaurant for some nice soul food and a few blocks away is the Schomburg Library
