We traveled over to DUMBO to hit the Sunday Market. While the market was just so so, DUMBO was a very unique area with a lot of neat restaurants and shops. Would be a nice place to stay out of mainstream Manhattan Area.

DUMBO was a nice surprise for us. Really nice place, clean and it is an amazing place to take pictures and have pictures taken of you with very interesting backgrounds. I was impressed how quite and clean it was. Maybe a lot of people don't...More

We liked DUMBO a lot! It had a very European and relaxed atmosphere. The little nook between two major bridges made it a unique place. Definitely worth strolling around for after you crossed the bridge and sat in the park.

Do yourself a favor and walk across the Brooklyn Bridge then explore the area. There is a beautiful park, great skyline, good shopping and food, and a little museum to explore. If you get tired, you can take the subway back to Manhattan.

I thought it was just shops, and nothing else, and the shops are nothing special. Unless I'm already in the area and I really have nothing to do, there's no point visiting it on purpose. Save your time for something else.

Little to see here. Few fallacies. Little street art. You can get some nice pictures of Manhattan Bridge. Little retail shopping. Certainly better places to hang out.

This place has the most beautiful views of Manhattan. Make sure to take a camera. Great place to take walks too!

We would like to leave Battery Park and head to DUMBO around 5pm, then walk over the bridge into Manhattan around sunset. Can you give me advice on how to navigate that?

Dear Jamie, I visited Dumbo with my sister who lives in NY. She drove, while I took pictures of the sites. My suggestion is that you use WAZE to navigate your way. Once there, have a blast and enjoy. Michelle
Hello! Do you know where you pick up the ferry in Midtown? Thank you! Sandra

In Manhat tan is 34th Street. In Brooklyn you have options but Williamsburg is one.
Are there any boutique hotels in the Dumbo section. Or, a nice hotel within walking distance?

Check out hotel le jolie. It's in Williamsburg which is about 10 minutes away but it's also a fun place to be.
