A quiet break from the fast pace in Manhattan. Lots of nice coffee shops and restaurants and quaint little shops to visit. Also a good spot to get some interesting photographs of the New York skyline from below the Brooklyn bridge.

Neighborhood is decent for the photo of the bridge and the views from the park. After that, you're kind of done.

This is the plavmce to go for the perfect picture of downtown with Brooklyn bridge. You can reach that Park by train or by crossing the bridge at sunset time. Then cocktail at the Brooklyn Heights and/or a pizza at Juliana's.

There are just so many things to do in Manhattan as a tourist may I suggest that you visit Harlem and go to Sylvia's Restaurant for some nice soul food and a few blocks away is the Schomburg Library
