The beer selection was excellent. Had 3 different sausages all of which were very good. The only criticism is the wait for a waitress was excessive and you have to pay for beer and food seperately. Would have been a 5 star if not for the logistics.

One of the best German beer halls in the city. Great pretzels too and lots of fun to watch sports. Live music also

One of my favorite bars in Brooklyn. I love the vibe, as well as the German draft beer selection. If you want something different, come to this place. The food is also great.

Place gets busy at night, but it's a great place to go with a couple of friends to sit and chat over beers and wursts. Service is prompt, the beer selection is comprehensive (though pretty much all German lagers).

Communal tables add to the fun with a great selection of beer and a grill with German sausages. Live music makes it even better, especially if you can catch Emily Asher's Garden Party. Don't forget to get the Bavarian pretzel to go with the beer.

met up with a friend here last week! Very excited when I walked in and smelled the grill going. Huge Beer menu to chose from, something for everyone. there was a wonderful live band playing. Ordered Sausage Sampler from the Grill and was very happy! Would recommend a stop here and check it out.

Walking round Brooklyn - Bedford Avenue area, and happened upon this place. What a find! Immediately you are struck by a brilliant, bustling atmosphere: live music, great value grill with all the German specialities and a truly international beer selection. I can recommend the German Hofbräu Original. I had a large Litre glass and it didn't last very long! A... More

I was only here for one quick drink but wish I could have stayed longer to sample the food that smelled oh so delicious! I loved the feel of this place, German music in the background, a large open grill and tables that stretched almost the length of a room! I can't however comment on the service as we didn't... More

Went on a Saturday during Oktoberfest. Totally lively, great atmosphere. It was packed. The food was good. It is served picnic table style and they let you sit and stay for as long as you like. The only downside was that service was a tad slow but completely understandable due to it being packed to the rafters. Great band and... More
