I visit Glacier National Park every year and love stopping at the Travel Alberta Visitor Center in West Glacier. The staff this year were so lovely and helpful. I had a lot of questions about going into Alberta, particularly Waterton. Even though I was planning for a future trip, Emma took her time to give me all the information I needed. Emma had helpful information about the Crypt Lake hike, especially since she had just done it herself. I then asked some questions about Calgary, and Brooke told me all about the Riverfront Walk-can't wait to visit. I am so excited for my trip to Alberta next year! One thing I noticed from previous years was the staff looked quite tired and had closed for lunch signs (maybe they are under staffed?). In the past, I remember there being more staff in the center. There was a definitely a longer a wait but it was worth it for the great information! Thanks Emma and Brooke!!!

This building is lovely. The staff not. The concern is that one member of our party needed to use the restroom. Well the way the staff let you know they absolutely must go on lunch break right that moment and need to close the place is by shutting all the lights off in the bathroom. With this there are no lights at all in the bathroom and there are no windows. My mother was so frightened!!!! Absolutely appalling the no-regard policy for safety and simple kindness - the staff could have simply knocked on the door to advise they were closing and spoken to their “guest”. I was so upset I spoke to the woman at the desk and she rudely replied she and her colleague needed to go for lunch and we needed to leave. The desk is just on the other side of the bathroom wall - not a difficult walk for staff. And no staff member mentioned the need to close when we came in. When we go back to the car my husband advised we were in the building for less than ten minutes. Sad reflection on an otherwise beautiful country

We visited this center before heading into Canada on our way to Alaska. Emma and Brooke were wonderful!
They were very knowledgeable, professional, and extremely helpful in al aspects of our travel plans. This is a "must" stop before heading into Canada.

We stopped in here to use the restroom and stayed to explore the little museum. Very friendly staff and they were having a little celebration for National Canada Day with cake and decorations. A surprisingly fun little gem in the midst of the village. Take a few minutes and visit!

This is a nice tourist booth and a nice location -- a good place to stop and look around. Being from Alberta we did not need any info/maps but did interact with the staff whom we found very friendly. The various displays are a nice representation of what Alberta has to offer. The displays are fun to look at and a great way to get out of the vehicle and stretch your legs.A pleasant surprise to see a touch of Alberta in Montana.
The restroom facilities are clean making it even more worthy the stop. If you want to prolong your stop, there are a couple of gift shops and a restaurant that are a very short walking distance apart. A very good location.

This visitor center is more of a fabulous museum. This center is full of wonderful information about traveling to the province of Alberta in Canada & the representative at the information desk was friendly and helpful. The only question she couldn't help a few of us with is how we could become Canadians (hehe).

We were so glad we stopped in! We got ideas for our trip to Canada and maps, and the kids were excited to hear about some of the interesting things to do where we were going to be visiting. The ranger who spoke with us was very knowledgeable and marked a lot of things that we didn’t know about on some very nice maps we were able to keep. They were invaluable in some of the sparsely populated areas we visited where we got no cell service and no google maps or Waze. Also, there are also some REALLY cool displays! I don’t want to spoil them for you, so just walk in and see them for yourself!

Wow - I don't think I've seen a nicer visitor center than this one. Very clean restrooms and the exhibits were very nicely done. Staff was friendly and helpful.
