What a wonderful lake in the middle of the desert. I was so impressed that I had to have a swim and the water temperature was perfect.

This is stunning and we were fortunate enough to rent a boat and go around the lake. You can rent (they don't require a boat license but you do sign away in case you mess up!) You can do all sorts of fun stuff on...More

Enjoy a leisurely boat ride with an experienced Captain at the helm sharing the history of Lake Powell. The water in some areas of this former 'canyon' is 250+ feet deep. The white demarcation lines above the current water line show evaporation effects. It is...More

This was my family’s third trip to Lake Powell and we really enjoy it. The water in June is usually pretty warm and very clean. There are lots of areas to see and visit at the lake.

Definitely recommend checking out the lake for a swim, boat rental or just go to the Wahweap lookout above the lake and take in the scenery

Took the one hour boat tour via the entrance on the way to the Canyons. Actually worth it. Was relaxing and pleasant to see the cliffs. Definitely stop and enjoy the restaurant. The ambiance, food and drink get two thumbs up!
