no reservation needed, toured the in the afternoon. The guide was knowledgeable about the canyon and camera settings, both cell camera and traditional point and shoot manual settings. Strongly recommend this site in conjunction with Horseshoe Bend.

If you manage to do it around noon it will be better, and the upper canyon light beam is better. There is a ladder, and you have to be careful but if you are on good physical shape and are careful you should be ok. The... More

If it helps we had an 8 20 start time and got back to our hotel (about 8 minutes away) at 10 30 ... just in time to check out. We never rushed through the canyon. We booked a Lake Powell ride for 1:15 that same day... More
