This was a great pit stop on our way to Grand Marais. The walk to the falls was perfect for our 12 year old. We all needed to stretch our legs. It was a busy day there, but plenty of space to get your photo...More

Grand Portage National Monument is a historic site showing life in the past. The hiking trail was beautiful although we couldn’t go all the way due to trees down from a recent storm.

My wife and I, getting up there in age, with bad hips and knees, made the half mile hike up to the High Falls. The handicapped accessible trail is paved or on a boardwalk and there are benches on which to rest along the way....More

This 120 - 130 foot waterfall was definitely worth the 1/2 mile or so walk on the U.S. side. There are three viewpoints. Do them all.

The waterfall is just a bit in on your hike (about half a mile). My husband and I enjoyed the hike; once we got to the Falls the air just smelled so clean and fresh! It was lovely.

High falls very beautiful. Middle falls not as impressive for the long hike. Took 3 hours round trip through the trees. Not much to see along the hike.

My daughter and I drove up here from Grand Marais late in the afternoon - and loved seeing these impressive falls! The walkway is paved, although there are some stairs too. Overall an easy walk to a great sight! Dogs were welcome too.

I think the earlier answer is accurate and inclusive. We saw visitors with a dog on a leash.
