A quick little hike off the parkway takes you to the cabin. The memorial marker was informative. Amazing the cabin still stands after all the years.

I am so glad that they saved this piece of local history. It is hard to imagine that one of the founding families lived in this little cabin.

It was a nice stopping off place as we drove through the park. It's a reminder of how people of many years ago lived in the mountains.

The devastation from the wildfires is still very visible and I commend the firefighters and Park employees for saving as much as they could. The Ogle Log Cabin has no damage and is a wonderful historical area of the Smokies. This site offers history, a...More

I like the new location better than the old location which was a bit hidden. I wish that there was more of a historical display, though. it might be good place for more information about the history of Gatlinburg.

Very nice and very well preserved considoring the age and history of the cabin.Located right out side the parking deck,so easy access. Fun little public musical area nearby for kis of all ages.

Yes it was unaffected by the fires although they came close.
