Nice Little Area!

Nice little covered bridge that leads to shops in Gatlinburg. This is a pretty place for a photo op. There are a few quaint shops and eateries close by.

This is one of the covered bridged in our area. It is in the Glades Arts and Crafts community and is absolutely beautiful. There are many shops behind it and a cafe too. Anything you would want in a small shopping village. Plan a visit in the spring and avoid the large crowds.

This place looks like it would be a nice place to stop but there is not alot to look at. Hopefully over time they can bring more shops in. Would hate to see it end up like other areas just sitting empty.

It's a small complex with a few stores and a cafe. The regular coffee and sandwiches in the cafe were excellent. A good view all around and the shop owners are very good. There are shops selling Cherokee pottery and wood art, hand made jewelry, hand crafted wood articles and some paintings and pottery. The prices of the art are... More

Cute open shopping art & craft mall. In early May however, not all the shops are open yet. It was definitely not crowded with throngs of tourists. Very nicely landscaped, clean bathrooms and very friendly shop owners. Lots of ramps, so it is wheelchair accessible. Plus you can drive through the covered bridge - it's not there just for decoration!... More

This is a very pretty and unique shopping village in the Arts & Crafts community. The assortment of shops/crafts people is excellent, the prices are great and the shop owners very friendly. There is a wonderful shop with a Cafe and coffee house - we had the most delicious homemade Sloppy Joe and a yummy dessert and Cappuccino! We highly... More

We stopped just to see the covered bridge and were able to take some nice representative photos of the Gatliburg of earlier days. What we didnt expect was the sound of hundreds of frogs that live in the cat tail filled bog beneath the bridge, all just steps from the loop road. It was a cheerful spot, much like the... More

My Mom and I stopped in to visit these shops after visiting their booths at the Craftsman's Fair during our visit. We had wanted to visit the Misty Mountain Soap Co. booth but the line was so long that we opted to visit them the next day at their store in the Covered Bridge plaza. It was a modern looking...
