I hope this place can be saved from the fire, because it is so beautiful. We actually came in Dec of 2015, not this year, but there was no option for this in the month visited section. The animals are so well-cared for and the stingray petting pool is awesome. It's a great place for couples or families, and there... More

We loved this place. Great place to go with kids. So much to look at. They even have several indoor playground areas for kiddos. They have some unusual fish and even sharks. To look at the main tank you can ride on a slow moving belt to check out all the fish and sharks. They even have a green sea... More

This aquarium has to one of the top 2 or 3 I have ever been to. It's amazing journey in, and under, and around the tanks and water life is simply astounding. I realize that Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park all have outstanding things to see and do, but this is a must visit while... More

We attended Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies on Thanksgiving day while visiting family. There were many opportunities for photo shots by holiday displays, Pearl Harbor poster cut outs, as well as aquarium exhibits. They also offer photo shots throughout the aquarium that you can purchase as you leave. I personally suggest the memory stick with all the shots they take.... More

Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies was an underwater delight. You could tell by the health and vitality of the animals that the staff loves them. The aquarium is handicap accessible which makes it great for everyone. The whole area was very clean. Interaction with the stingrays and jellys made me feel like a kid again. Speaking of kids, there is... More

Whenever we visit Gatlinburg we love to stop at the aquarium. Ripley's attractions gives a discount to military and are very nice to deal with. It seems that they are very attentive to their animals and keep the place clean and the attractions don't appear old and neglected.
