The Bog Garden is a great change of pace against Gso's other parks. It has a quiet, rustic, and woodsy feel. The ducks and turtles that live in the pond are great.

Gets you back to nature, right in the middle of the city. Clean and well maintained. Safe for all ages. Also a good place to walk your dog. We are regulars here

So, I didn't go in march. But I used to go every weekend with my grandparents. Growing up nearby, it was a weekend staple activity. We would watch the ducks on the pond and enjoy quality time.

This place is unique in the area and can be a pleasant place to walk but it is often crowded. With people walking abreast on the raised walkways, a dog or two leering at the understandably concerned wildfowl, some cute but boisterous kids and you have it. I usually go to the Bicentennial Park across the street to park and... More

It was ok, I didn't really understand why it had such high review. It was near the Tanger garden and shops so it's ok to stop by, but no need to go out of the way.

We have had the opportunity to walk thru these gardens a few times and no matter the time of year, it is always quite enjoyable. You will hear animals and birds scampering thru the woods and see all kinds of things on the water.

This would be a nice romantic place for a lunch. Shady, quiet, hidden, cool. Neat little waterfall just a short distance away from the shopping at Friendly Center

You can almost miss the Bog Garden if you are not sure where you are going. However, though it is hidden the surroundings are nice and I just had a sense of calm and peace while walking there.

Right across the street from a major mall, but easy to miss the entrance. Very nice walking trails with a boardwalk the elevated you above the water/swamp as necessary which afforded you nice views of wildlife. A nice serene walking path all around a nice lake with many ducks. Many benches to hang out and view or read. A number... More

This park is one of the reasons why I love the Greensboro area. So many "secret places" like this are hidden amidst shopping malls and high-traffic areas. Once you park your car and begin walking, it's as though you have been swept into a secret garden. It is so quiet on one side of the street, where there is a... More
